Stina Löfgren works with images and objects. The drawn line is her main tool for exploring and encircling reality. In addition, there is a strong appetite for experimentation when it comes to materials, be it enameled wall objects or woodcuts where the beautiful structure of the wood is used to create image surfaces. The result is often images that highlight the surreal aspects of human everyday life.
After a master's degree in visual communication from College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2011, Stina Löfgren has worked as an artist, designer and illustrator and has moved freely between genres and techniques. Her illustrations are often seen in Swedish newspapers and she has done a large number of public artworks.
