Three serigraphs by artist Disa Rytt are now available on ed-art.se. Since Rytt graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 2012, she has worked primarily with painting; the serigraphs are the first prints available to buy by the artist.
Disa Rytt sees her artistic work as an exploration of all the materials of painting, where space, light and our own perception are crucial factors to determine how the works will be experienced. What once started as feminist, realistic portraits, has now turned into abstract forms. But, for Rytt, all is interlinked; it's just different ways of exploring the ideas of the mind in the material world.
The serigraphs are printed in a neon pink barely possible to reproduce on the screen, the images from the printing process perhaps give a better idea of how they look.
