meet annee olofsson
Welcome to the official release of Anneè Olofsson's print Mourning hours of mirage nights of mist. As it is Thursday, we are open as usual from 12 o'clock, but from 5 pm Anneè Olofsson will be here and around 6 pm she will tell us a little about the work and how it relates to the rest of her artistry. Probably she will share something about the origin of the work, when Olofsson went through the disc collection of her late father and found Bill Evans and Jim Hall's "Undercurrent" adorned with a picture of a floating woman in a dress so similar to the artist's own wedding gown. And maybe she will share details from the actual photo session when Olofsson, wearing this dress, did everything in order to keep herself floating in cold water without moving.
