Cecilia Pettersson is interested in small details and large vegetation. The rhythm, the symmetry and the pattern appear on the paper through slow, monochrome ink drawing. She works both as a designer and an artist; sometimes the drawings are turned into products and sometimes they become works of art. 

We are now presenting two new serigraphs at ed-art.se. Ocean in a dark blue color depicts a suggestive and slightly surreal underwater world where the seaweed has eyes and waves to the viewer with fingers showing off well-painted nails. In Meadow, it is the world above the surface that is depicted, or rather the meadow with its myriad of flowers and leaves.

Cecilia Pettersson has a Master of Fine Art in Design from HDK in Gothenburg. She has worked with design assignments for clients such as Bonniers and IKEA, but has also carried out several large public art projects, had solo exhibitions and received several prestigious art scholarships.
