Olle Halvars

Olle Halvars works primarily with printmaking, usually in larger format with textiles and sculpture. In his prints, he uses a simplified type of expression; a mix of clippings, broad brush strokes and carved wood. The works often have a humorous style and draw on the absurdities of the everyday life of the artist as well as the fears created by our times.
Olle Halvars is educated at the College of Printmaking Arts in Stockholm and the University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. In addition to his own artistry, he is part of two art groups who work collectively and make exhibitions together: Studio Käse in Stockholm and Stuffed in Zagreb.
