Minimalism

Minimalism is an artistic movement that emerged in the 1960s, primarily as a reaction against the emotionaliy of Abstract Expressionism. The style strives to simplify artworks to their basic elements through the use of strict geometric shapes, neutral color palettes, and industrial materials, creating a direct, physical experience for the viewer.
