Olle Borg "Twelve Days from the Diary of Chance (red)"

About Olle Borg

Olle Borg himself points out mathematics and alchemy as his two great sources of inspiration. His artworks often consist of geometric patterns that are repeated and shifted. The starting point is mathematical calculations, but during the journey, where layer upon layer of color is added, a playfulness is also created. The artist has often worked with the color scale of Humbrol, a manufacturer of hobby paints for military models.

Olle Borg (b. 1960, Stockholm) studied at the Royal College of Art in Stockholm, with a master’s degree in 1988. Since then, he has exhibited both in Sweden, around Europe and the United States.
