About Fredrik Söderberg

Fredrik Söderberg is known for his richly detailed watercolor paintings charting the ”other” story, the one that runs parallel alongside the established history. Movements and groups that are in the grey areas capture the artist's interest. Through the years he has come to touch upon the first alternative movements in the wake of industrialization, but also esoteric and occult subjects.

Fredrik Söderberg (b. 1972, Örebro) graduated from the arts department of the College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2000 and is one of his generation's foremost artists. He has exhibited extensively both in Sweden and abroad, and his works can be found in the collections of the Moderna Museet and Magasin III. His name became known to a wider audience in 2011 when he designed a limited edition bottle for Absolut vodka.
