"A Story Written With Water" consists of a number of poetic texts where the present, the past and the future intersect. The process is similar to diary entries where reality, dreams and fantasies are intertwined. The handwritten Persian texts are arranged in random patterns.

Help choosing

We offer two different services to help you choose artwork:

1. Free digital consultation with sketches. Based on images of your walls and your existing art, we put together digital sketch proposals with artwork and frames. Read more

2. Hanging consultation at home including art for 5,000 SEK (in the Stockholm area). During a two-hour visit, we look at and hang all the art you have and how it can be complemented with at least one new work from us. Read more

About Raha Rastifard

Raha Rastifard is an Iranian-German artist who today resides in Stockholm. Her work ranges from photography to video, drawing, installations and printmaking. It always stems from her personal experiences, and is largely autobiographical. In her highly lyrical art, she creates works full of transcultural, poetic and historical art references. The process often resembles diaries where reality, dreams and fantasies intertwine.

Raha Rastifard has a Bachelor of Fine art from the National University of Art in Tehran and a Master’s degree in European and Islamic Art History and Iranian Studies from the Freie Universität in Berlin. She has exhibited around Europe and in Iran, but also, among others, in the US, Japan and China.
