Framing

ed. art provides framing as part of the purchase. We partner with skilled framers across Stockholm to custom-make your frame after you have placed your order. All frames are made-to-measure and acid-free.

Help choosing

We offer two different services to help you choose artwork:

1. Free digital consultation with sketches. Based on images of your walls and your existing art, we put together digital sketch proposals with artwork and frames. Read more

2. Hanging consultation at home including art for 5,000 SEK (in the Stockholm area). During a two-hour visit, we look at and hang all the art you have and how it can be complemented with at least one new work from us. Read more

About Morten Schelde

Morten Schelde’s main tool is the pencil, from which his fantastical worlds - both abstract and figurative - flow. Schelde’s work is often based on photographs, but by allowing the picture to take the detour via the body, the subject changes and additional dimensions are added. Schelde distorts the rooms and turns them inside out when he creates his worlds, often inhabited by wolves, bears and horses. The drawings as well as Schelde’s prints are often monochrome, from afar creating a unified picture of what upon closer examination is a wondrous, whirling world.

Schelde (b. 1972) grew up in Copenhagen, has lived a few years in Berlin but now works in Skagen, Denmark. He graduated from the Copenhagen Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 2001 and has since exhibited widely in Northern Europe and the United States in both art galleries and and museums.
