Sofie Proos
Sofie Proos (b. 1974, Södertälje) is a painter. Art history is a significant source of her work. She works like an archaeologist with a mapping of the human being and its remnants. A conflict between nature and culture is often present, one can also perceive a certain criticism of the prevailing position of reason in our culture, at the expense of mystery and feeling.
