Oscar Andersson
Oscar Andersson's artworks moves on the border between illustration and materiality, where figures, decorative elements and entire fantasy worlds take physical form. Through installations, murals, performance and illustrative image worlds, he explores the identities we carry and who we long to become. Inspired by mythology, symbolism, spirituality and folk art, he strives to create narrative spaces that offer an opening to another world.
Oscar Andersson (b. 1988 Tibro), based in Stockholm. Has studied at HDK Valand, Konstfack and Gothenburg Art School. He has participated in several group exhibitions at, among others, Grafiska Sällskapet, Skärholmens konsthall and Liljevalchs. He has also done several illustration assignments for various magazines and worked with scenography for, among others, Helsingborg City Theatre.
