Ida Pettersson Preutz
Ida Pettersson Preutz creates textile artworks using hand-dyed fabrics as well as screen prints. She often works in series where the pieces complement one another. Through repetition, bold colors, and a variety of shapes, she explores optical illusions and their impact on the viewer. Using a patchwork technique, the components of the work form a cohesive whole that challenges the eye and our perception of what we see.
Ida Pettersson Preutz (b. 1989, Mariestad) is based in Älmhult and graduated from Konstfack in 2014. Her work has been exhibited at venues including Vandalorum and Form/Design Center in Malmö.
