Daniel Persson
Daniel Persson is interested in the outskirts of the city–what’s to be found in the borderland of the urban space. In photography and printmaking, often screen printing based on photographs, he explores the boundary between abstraction and classic depictions of landscapes.
Persson (b. 1974) holds a bachelor's degree in printmaking from the Bergen Academy of Art and Design. For a number of years he has been working with colleagues to run Tyrkkeriet Bergen– a leading center for and workshop for contemporary printmaking in the Nordic region.
