In the fall of 2017, Roger Metto has worked with litho printer Sibirien Lito to produce a new lithograph for ed. art. Now it's ready to be presented to the world! It is a classic Metto image, which in figurative terms emphasizes the feeling of mankind standing before a magnificent but mysterious nature, but at the same time it is a pure practice in abstract color management, where Metto is working with the possibilities offered by lithographic art.

Roger Metto's own upbringing in Kiruna's mountainous world has influenced him to tell about the vast landscape around the city, with its overwhelming mountain masses along the horizon; from the city's location in a mountain slope, the entire mountain world can be seen in a wide panorama from North to South.

The lithographic work is done in black in painting and drawing on mylar, and then photographically transferred to plates. A large part of the work is done during the printing process when the colors are tested against each other. The result is a lithograph in ten colors where the print surface measures 70x50cm.
