printing time

When all the plates are complete, the next step is the actual printing process, for Jesper Nyrén and the etching project he is working on for ed.

The printing is carried out together with one of Sweden's foremost printmakers, Siv Johansson, in her workshop in Björkhagen outside of Stockholm. Test printing is a time consuming process, where the right colors and saturation are tested. Everything that the artist originally intended is often re-evaluated during this stage. That was also the case this time!

The result after a few days of work in the workshop for Siv and Jesper, will be a proof print that Jesper is satisfied with. From this proof, Siv will start printing the actual edition. We eagerly await the results!
