For the vast majority of Swedes, Tore Berger is probably best known as one of the founders and a member of the prog rock band Blå tåget. But Berger is a man of many talents who throughout his music career had an equally vivid painterly one. Berger studied at the College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and Valand Academy in Gothenburg, graduating in 1963. His debut was a critically acclaimed exhibition at Lilla Galleriet on Brunkebergstorg in 1965. Thereafter, exhibitions have succeeded one another for 40 years.
The serigraphs at ed. art were produced in 1990 with Atelier Landberg in Stockholm. They are images with a high degree of abstraction, but the title "Landscape" gives the viewer a little wink as to how they can be read.
