On seeing Rune Andersson’s art, it is clear that he has a background in the world of graffiti. The dazzling colors, the casual gestures, the nearness to an abstract imagery. His stories are set in the city or in the wilderness or in the dream, hopefully somewhere in between.
Rune Andersson studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm and graduated in 2012. Today he works in many different media such as photography, video, installations and prints.
