Jesper Nyrén works with patterns, shapes and figures. His pictures can be thought to be derived from nature, sometimes depicting the world through a microscope, sometimes from a satellite perspective. But they should probably be seen as disconnected from reality, complex experiments with form and color.
Jesper Nyrén graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 2007. He is one of the most promising painters of his generation. He has exhibited in galleries in Sweden and Norway, and participated in a number of group exhibitions, such as Borås international sculpture biennale. He has made several public, large-scale works.
