Uffe Christoffersen is an artist who has come to be associated almost exclusively with the tiger as a motif. But for Christoffersen, the most important thing in a painting is not the motif in itself, but the exploration of the act of painting. As a painter, he has returned to the same motifs in order to get to the bottom of painting as such. He is a colorful painter with a neo-expressionist expression.
Uffe Christoffersen studied at Copenhagen's Royal Academy of Arts. Since the 90s, he has lived and worked in the south of France.
