Vesna Salamon is an Croatian artist that works between Stockholm and Zagreb. Her work ranges from sculpture, light and sound installations, artist’s books, drawing, but primarily she is a printmaker. She creates prints with physical, biological and chemical scientific references. The process often resembles that of scientific research and is often built on collaborative work.
Vesna Salamon has a Master’s degree in printmaking and art education from the Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb, University of Zagreb, Croatia. She has also studied at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, where she has lived and worked in recent years. She has exhibited on over 40 exhibitions around Europe and Asia, and is the winner of several awards.
