Finn Öhlund has, in addition to more traditional forms of art such as painting, drawing and video, in times also had an interested in folk art, graffiti and psychedelic art. Conceptually, he has recently both theoretically and experimentally explored the communicative properties of the image in the abstract - art's still unexplained "magical" influence on us through the different levels and of our consciousness, and the possibilities that this may entail.
Finn Öhlund has studied art at Idun Lovén and Wik's folk high school. In addition to his own career, Öhlund has spent a fair amount of time on collaborative projects and curatorial activities.
